About The Orlando Fun Company

Andrew and family in Orlando - one of our annual trips since 2004.

Why we created The Orlando Fun Company

We are a family who fell in love with Orlando in 2004, and we have been going back every single year since. What started as one holiday became a tradition, and that tradition became an obsession with knowing the place inside out – the parks, the quiet corners, the best time to ride Expedition Everest, where to find a decent cup of tea on International Drive, and which beach is worth the drive when you need a day away from the queues.

The Orlando Fun Company exists because we wanted to share all of that with families like ours. UK families who have saved up, planned for months, and want a holiday that feels exciting, clear and achievable – not overwhelming.

Theme park tickets are part of what we do, but they are not the whole story. We want to help you discover the Orlando we know and love – from Disney and Universal to Kennedy Space Center, Cocoa Beach, the outlet shopping, the alligators and airboats, the quieter nature spots, and the simple joy of breakfast together before a big day out.

We are not a faceless booking site. We are the family in the villa next door, comparing park plans over breakfast and swapping tips by the pool. We have made the rookie mistakes, learned the shortcuts, and figured out what actually matters when you are travelling with kids, grandparents, or a group that wants very different things from the same week. Everything we offer comes from over twenty years of experience, and from genuinely wanting your trip to be as special as ours have been.

More than a ticket website

A ticket website can show prices. We want to do more than that.

Our aim is to help families understand what kind of Orlando holiday they actually want, then guide them towards the tickets, experiences and planning choices that support it.

Things we got wrong — so you don’t have to

  1. We once did seven park days in a row. It was too many. By day five, nobody was enjoying the rides — we were just getting through them. The holiday felt like a schedule instead of a trip. We now plan rest days as deliberately as park days.
  2. We booked the wrong ticket type for one of our trips. We bought 7-day consecutive tickets when we should have had a 14-day windowed option. We lost two days we’d paid for because we hadn’t read the difference carefully enough. Now we explain that difference to every family before they commit.
  3. We skipped Kennedy Space Center for years because we thought it was for space fans. It’s not. It’s for anyone who wants to stand next to something that actually went to the moon and feel genuinely small for a few minutes. We’ve taken children as young as six and teenagers who said they weren’t interested — every single one came away quiet and wide-eyed. Go.

What we believe

Simple beats overwhelming

Families do not need hundreds of confusing options. They need clear guidance and sensible choices.

Trust matters

Orlando holidays are a big purchase. Families deserve clear terms, secure payments and helpful support.

The right plan is personal

The best route depends on your trip length, budget, park plans, rest days and family rhythm.

Does any of this sound familiar?

“We’ve been researching for months and still don’t know which parks to prioritise.”

“We definitely want Disney — but we’re not sure whether Universal is worth adding or whether we should use that money on something else.”

“We’ve got two weeks and we’re terrified of spending every single day in a queue.”

“Our kids are different ages and they want completely different things from the same holiday.”

“We want to get it right. We’ve been saving for this for years and we don’t want to waste it.”

What families say

"

We’d been going round in circles for months trying to decide between Disney packages. Andrew helped us understand exactly what we’d use and what we wouldn’t — and we ended up with the right tickets for our family at a price we were comfortable with. Brilliant.

Genuinely refreshing to speak to someone who’d actually been there, multiple times, with their own family. Not a call centre. Not a script. Just honest advice that made the whole planning process much less stressful.

We have five people in our group ranging from age four to fourteen. Getting advice that worked for all of them felt impossible until we asked here. The itinerary suggestion alone was worth its weight in gold.
